I have been working in the IT industry for two decades, from System Engineering and Network Infrastructure Design to Cloud Architecture and DevOps Engineer in many successful companies helping them to innovate with state-of-art designs based on the AWS Well-Architecture framework. Those designs allow implementing a rock-solid and automated integration and delivery solution that leverages an auto-scalable and self-healing container ecosystem.

Started this project in GCP from scratch with the premise to only use GCP for everything. After our kick-off meeting, I designed all the infrastructure and coded with Terraform. Using Load Balancer with Backend Bucket for static content and Backend Service for dynamic content served from Google Serverless Functions. Using YouTube for video hosting, now migration to on-premise solution with an improved backend.

Short but intensive project, I worked with a small team of DevOps leading a massive project migration from GCP to AWS in record time. I designed and code most of Terraform modules to bring this project into AWS EKS. This migration also include CI/CD and Istio for network management.

Designed and implemented in AWS all new OpenShift Stacks. We used AWS CloudFormation to code all the infrastructure design and replicated this same to all regions where the company operates. With multiple apps running everywhere, we managed to migrate all these first to Docker, then to OpenShift. We also migrate all the manual processes to Jenkins Pipelines to fully integrated CI/CD in their building process.

I designed, using the latest technologies and recommended methodologies, their infrastructure follows “Infrastructure as a Code” as a guide. Terraform for infrastructure orchestration and Ansible for everything else. We build those stacks using Docker-Compose and sometimes Kubernetes.

I designed the Network with stacked switches to ensure High Availability (Cisco).

Working at Buenos Aires Department of Justice was a exited journey. Started as Windows Sysadmin, while I have applied for Linux Sysadmin. With no Windows Server experience, I managed to deploy Windows Servers (100) using Terminal Service ( Remote Desktop ) so the more 10.000 employees could use a Windows Desktop from theirs old computers with PXE support. I was also responsible to implement the Print Server, using Linux CUPS, to a multiple printers around the facilities.

Started my IT career in this company as a junior System Engineer installing, configuring and giving maintenance to the current Novell Netware and UNIX Solaris Servers. After some time, I have started the migration of these servers to Linux Server. This last migrations took some years moving all Apps and Resources to the new platforms, including enhanced Cisco networking stacks.
